Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area

Tiantai Mountain Scenic Spot, located in Qili Town, Hong'an County, Huanggang City (about 33 kilometers north of the county seat), is named after the main peak "mountain-shaped platform, like a natural creation". Valley, Dutianhe Drifting Area, Xiangshan Lake, Tiantai Town and other scenic spots, here are densely forested, surrounded by mountains, full of clear streams and lush valleys, and the high temperature in summer does not exceed 35 degrees, which is an ideal mountain tour to escape the heat. Good place. It usually takes a day to visit Tiantai Mountain. After entering the scenic spot, tourists can walk through Lijiumen, Xiyuanmen, Datianmen and other scenic spots in turn, and can reach the top of Tiantai Mountain. There are four Taitai, Zhongtai, Shutai and Xiaotai on the top of Tiantai Peak. A large number of literati, such as Li Zhi, a writer and thinker of the Ming Dynasty, and Geng Ding, the minister of the Ministry of Housing, came here to give lectures and discuss the Tao, and left a large number of poems and songs. The cultural landscape of Tiantai Mountain is also very rich. You can go to the Tiantai Temple in the mountains to worship incense and pray for blessings. There is a Buddhist Zen music temple in the temple, where you can listen to the leisurely Zen music. There is also an indoor white marble Buddha statue in the temple. Tourists who like adventure can play adventure rafting on the Duotian River in the mountains. The total length of the rafting river is about 6 kilometers, and the rafting time is about 2.5 hours. The canyons on both sides of the river are deep and the beach is full of rough waves. Boarding a rubber boat and going down the river can experience the fun of "boat drifting in the jungle, people swimming in the painting". You can also go boating on the scenic Xiangshan Lake. The water of Xiangshan Lake is clear and surrounded by islands like emeralds inlaid in the water. The island is lush with trees, especially when it rains, the lake is misty and rainy, and the mountains in the distance appear and disappear.Hong'an · 27.3km from downtown

Hiking on Tiantai Mountain is a very interesting experience. There are no specific routes here; you just have to walk slowly and search carefully. Occasionally, you'll meet someone who shares your interests, and hiking together is especially fun.

I went during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The night view was beautiful, there were many NPC interactions and it was a lot of fun. The final show, "Hong'an, Hong'an," was amazing, and it ended with a metal flower performance. It was a great experience.

Today's experience was excellent; the rafting was fantastic. We encountered a minor hiccup: our ride-hailing car couldn't reach us because the navigation was off-target and there was road construction at the intersection, plus the park shuttle had already stopped running. Unexpectedly, a staff member proactively communicated with the driver and eventually personally rode a tricycle to take us to the pick-up point. So responsible and helpful! A sincere thumbs up to this staff member!

The overall landscape design is good, but the management is lacking. The pricing is too high, or rather, the strategy is unreasonable. It feels like a combination of a suburban park and a man-made attraction; while it has its unique features, it feels cobbled together and poorly organized. It's not worth the price, and individual tourists are unlikely to return. Selling annual passes might be okay, but even then, they're not valid during the Mid-Autumn Festival when there aren't many people. Basically, the management is overly calculating, which is quite disappointing. As a resident of Huangpi, I took my whole family there for a family gathering, hoping for a nostalgic experience. However, it felt somewhat underwhelming and not worth the trip. I'd say it was a "quite a failure." They should learn from Chimelong and avoid this short-sighted approach.

Yellow Crane Tower, a famous scenic spot in Wuhan, is a must-see. It's not just a tower, but a large park; the gardens are surprisingly beautiful, and you could easily spend a whole day exploring it. There are also performances, dance shows, and recitations of Li Bai's poems. You can also take an elevator up the tower for only 10 yuan; seniors get it for free.

Li Xiannian was born on June 23, 1909 in a poor peasant family in Lijia House, Changfeng Village, Gaoqiao Town, Huangan County, Hubei Province (now Hong'an County). In 1925, when he was learning carpentry in his hometown, he was influenced by the Huangan Working Group of the Communist Party of China and began to devote himself to the revolution. In the autumn of 1927, Li Xiannian led the peasants of his hometown to participate in the famous Huangma Uprising and joined the Communist Party of China. During the war years, Li Xiannian has been engaged in military struggle and is an outstanding general of the people's army led by the Communist Party of China. He is brave and good at fighting, and has made outstanding contributions. He is not afraid of sacrifice and bravely shoulders heavy responsibilities at important historical junctures. He dares to fight and repeatedly makes extraordinary achievements. In the early days of the founding of New China, Li Xiannian presided over the overall work of the party, government and army in Hubei Province. In 1954, he was transferred to the central government and served as Vice Premier of the State Council for 26 years, and concurrently served as Minister of Finance for nearly 20 years. Since then, he has successively served as Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, President of the State, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and other important positions.

The exhibited artifacts were quite good; I've also been to joint exhibitions organized by museums like the Hunan Provincial Museum. The Kremlin artifacts here are well-prepared and thoughtfully designed. However, the souvenir and merchandise section was rather boring. I was thinking of buying a pendant or something, but that saved me some money.

I missed the half-price ticket discount during the summer vacation, but I still enjoyed the Jiangxi Province tourism discount coupon. As this was my first time visiting Lushan in Jiangxi, I was generally quite satisfied, especially being able to drive up the mountain myself, which was a great experience. However, it is worth noting that this is a general admission ticket, and many attractions do not require additional tickets. This point did not seem to be clearly explained, so I almost had to buy tickets for Guanyin Bridge and Bailudong twice.
