Things to do in Kaohsiung

It sure is worth a visit, fantastic views from the old Residence, even so not very much to discover inside, the actual Office downstairs offers more in regards of the history of the building etc and about the People at that time.

The staff and volunteers at the exhibition hall were so kind and friendly, thank you! 🙏🏻❤️ The ticket checkers at the entrance were also very friendly~

Great amusement to spend the day. Not too big, and most people usually go to the food court in the mall to eat, so thankfully re-entry is allowed via stamp.Saturday I think the park closes a little later then the weekdays, so there was also another show that was played outside.I can imagine during peak times this place will be packed, so enjoy it before it gets to that point.Best place would be more for couples or families.

Easily spent an hour wandering inside this museum. A peaceful space with wonderful culture. Strongly recommended!

Perfect, Serene Experience for Families and Seniors! This tour is incredibly elderly-friendly. I traveled with my mother, and she felt very comfortable throughout the trip. The service was homely, and the boat itself has plenty of seating with a stable, smooth ride. A huge highlight was the atmosphere—there was no loud, blasting music, making it a very serene way to enjoy the river. Our guide was very informative, sharing the interesting history of the Love River as we passed landmarks like the illuminated Kaohsiung Music Center and the Great Harbor Bridge.​Tip: If you are a couple looking for a private, romantic vibe, the gondolas might be better. But for families or those traveling with parents, the Love Boat is the perfect choice for a relaxing, educational tour

Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo Family Tour Kaohsiung Shoushan Zoo in Taiwan is a very unique zoo🐒, because Shoushan used to be a mountain full of monkeys⛰️, and later a zoo was built, but the monkeys on the mountain🐒 continued to live freely here. So when you enter the zoo, you must keep a close eye on the food you eat, and it is best not to eat casually on the road, otherwise a monkey will suddenly jump out, and sometimes a group of monkeys will come to snatch your food!

went during friday early evening but most exhibits, museums, cafes were closed. Maybe better to go in the morning or afternoon.

A large-scale stadium in Kaohsiung was built for the 2009 World Games. The stadium looks like a winding dragon. The environment around the stadium is also good, like a big park!

This is the most interesting museum I have visited in Kaohsiung. Apart from the fact that there are not many people visiting, the tickets are cheap and the facilities are very good. You can play in this museum for more than 4 hours, and the exhibits are quite interesting.
