Lviv National Opera
The Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre, built in 1900, is a glorious architectural landmark in Lviv. Once known as the Grand Theatre, it was changed to its current name in 1939. The Opera House is in the classical style, using Renaissance and Baroque architectural forms, and the interior and exterior decorations are very ornate and elegant. It became a concentrated display of European painting and sculpture achievements at the end of the 19th century. St. George's Cathedral
The Cathedral of St. George was built on the hill of St. George, where prominent figures of the Ukrainian Catholic Church are buried. It is now run by the Ukrainian Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church. This is a baroque-rococo church. An earlier wooden building was built in 1280 and was destroyed and rebuilt in 1761. Shevchenkivskyi Hai Park Museum
This is an open-air museum covering an area of 150 hectares. It is located in the village of "Pirogov" on the outskirts of the city. It is a good place to learn about Ukrainian national customs and daily life. You can see nearly 300 pieces of Ukrainian unique folk architecture, all of which were shipped intact from various Ukrainian states.
