Ao Phang Nga National Park is located along the Andaman Sea coast in Phang Nga Province, southern Thailand, and is a marine national park famous for its marine karst landscapes and mangrove ecosystems, covering an area of approximately 400 sq km. The park consists of bays, numerous islands, limestone peaks, sea caves, and coastal wetlands. Limestone islands of various shapes are scattered across the sea. Some have steep, towering cliffs, while some caves and waterways are only accessible by boat. Located in Phang Nga Province, Elephant Mountain Khaochang is the landmark of Phang Nga Province. The unique karst landform has natural karst caves formed inside.
