Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur

Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur is a gravity cart amusement park in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, featuring the gravity cart experience originating from New Zealand. All carts here are designed and manufactured in New Zealand, with a hybrid appearance between go-karts and sleds. Instead of engine-powered propulsion, they rely entirely on gravity to race down the tracks. The controls are beginner-friendly—pulling the handle backward slows or brakes the cart, while releasing it accelerates, allowing riders to fully control their speed. This unique activity is available in only a few cities worldwide, and Kuala Lumpur is one of them. The park features four tracks laid along the mountain terrain, connecting continuous curves, hairpin turns, and tunnels. Each ride begins with a four-person chairlift cable car, taking you to the hilltop before you choose any track to race back down. Speed enthusiasts can repeatedly challenge themselves on tracks packed with tight turns, while family-friendly options allow adults and children to ride together. The experience is available both day and night, with the tracks illuminated after dark—offering a thrilling downhill rush under the lights that feels entirely different from the daytime. Many travelers specifically opt for the nighttime time slots. Photo spots are set up along the tracks, so watch for cameras when navigating turns. The park also includes activities like high-altitude ziplines, perfect for combining into your itinerary.Rawang · 7.5km from downtown

Batu Caves is a cave temple complex formed by limestone hills and is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrimage sites outside of India. This karst cave complex contains over 20 known caves, with the larger Temple Cave housing the Hindu deity of war, Murugan. It is also the central venue for Malaysia's Thaipusam festival, which attracts a large number of Hindu devotees for pilgrimage every year. At the foot of the hill stands a gilded statue of Murugan, approximately 42.7 m high and entirely gold-plated, serving as an iconic landmark of the scenic area. Next to the statue is a colorful rainbow staircase, requiring a climb of 272 steps to reach the cave entrance. Flocks of pigeons often gather on both sides of the stairs, and the plaza is dotted with multiple Hindu statues and colorful decorations. After entering the Temple Cave, walking deep along the towering cave walls, sunlight pours in from natural openings in the cave ceiling, illuminating the rock walls and Hindu shrines, with exquisite statues of Hindu deities distributed throughout the cave. The Cave Villa complex at the foot of the hill consists of the Art Gallery Cave and Museum Cave, displaying statues and murals based on Hindu mythology. To the left of the main staircase is the Ramayana Cave - Suyambu Lingam, with a tall statue of Hanuman standing at the entrance, and murals inside the cave depicting classic scenes from the Indian epic "Ramayana." Stalactites, stalagmites, and other karst geological features can be seen on the cave walls, and the caves are also home to various bats and other cave-dwelling creatures. A rock climbing route has been opened on the northeast side of the hill, attracting many rock climbing enthusiasts to take on the challenge.Batu Caves · 15.5km from Rawang

Awana SkyWay (Formerly known as Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car)

4.7/5
2k reviews
Awana SkyWay (Formerly known as Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car) is the main aerial route to and from the mountaintop resort area in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. Departing from Awana Central Station on the mountainside, it takes approximately 10 minutes to reach Genting Highlands Station at the summit, climbing over 600 m during the journey. The cable car spans the entire valley, offering views of the pristine tropical rainforest below, said to be over 100 million years old. As the cabins ascend slowly along the mountain ridge, mist often drifts through the sea of trees. On clear days, you can see the layered mountain ranges in the distance, and the temperature at the summit is noticeably cooler than at the base. The cabins come in two types: standard cabins, which are shared with other travelers and have higher capacity, and glass-bottom cabins. Among the over 100 cabins in operation, only about 10 feature transparent floors, allowing direct views of the rainforest and deep valleys below. Those seeking this "floating" experience should plan ahead. The route also includes a stop at Chin Swee Temple Station, where travelers can disembark with the same ticket to visit the hillside Chin Swee Temple and Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda before reboarding to continue the uphill ride—a highlight many travelers miss. The summit station connects directly to the SkyAvenue mall, with attractions like Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park just steps away. Mountain weather is unpredictable, so for clearer views of the expansive landscape, mornings are usually the best time to ride. • Take the Awana SkyWay (Formerly known as Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car) to enjoy the picturesque view of Genting Highlands and the breathtaking 360° panorama. • Overlook the 130-million-year-old tropical rainforest. • Feel the cool mountain air and enjoy an experience like flying high in the sky. △ Admire the 130-million-year-old tropical rainforest below, with breathtaking views in sight. △ Enjoy an extraordinary journey in the sky.Genting Highlands · 23.5km from Rawang

Definitely worth the experience and achievement of climbing the stairs. Monkeys are intimidating and although I had no food, one jumped onto my backpack while I was climbing the stairs. Nature inside the cave is lovely.

The price was a bit high, but the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was no refund or cancellation policy. Because the driver deliberately led us on a wrong route, we were delayed and couldn't reach the top for the view. The children were very disappointed, and the driver refused to compensate us. We had to buy new tickets ourselves and visit the next day.

One of the best memories and most unforgettable experiences! Visiting Aquaria was truly amazing. Seeing the marine life up close, especially the beautiful rays swimming gracefully above us, was such a magical experience. Walking through the underwater tunnel made me feel like I was in another world, surrounded by the beauty of the ocean. Every corner offered something fascinating to see, making the entire visit worthwhile. It’s not just a place to explore, but an experience to remember. Definitely a must-visit, and a memory I will cherish for a long time!

Such a worthwhile and enjoyable experience for the kids! It’s more than just fun and games — they get to develop problem-solving skills, explore different careers, learn about finding jobs, and understand the value of money and how earning an income works. The kids had an amazing time and were so excited throughout the experience. They are already asking when we can come back again!Definitely a great place for kids to have fun while learning valuable life skills. Highly recommended! ❤️

Kuala Lumpur Tower Review (98 words) From the Kuala Lumpur Tower observation deck, you can overlook the entire city, with the Petronas Twin Towers, TRX Tower, and National Theatre all visible – a fantastic vantage point. Unfortunately, the haze was heavy today, obscuring the distant views and significantly diminishing the experience. The SkyBox, a suspended glass structure, is quite challenging and suitable for photography enthusiasts. Overall, it's more of a city skyline photo opportunity; a visit to the tower is relatively short, and it's a convenient stop if you're passing by, not worth a special trip.
