It's just okay, a very small temple, and quite commercialized.
I visited Hanshan Temple, which is featured in textbooks, and its yellow walls and black tiles exude an ancient charm. Immersed in the poetic imagery of "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge," I strolled through the stele gallery, climbed the bell tower to hear the bell toll, and enjoyed the ancient canal and Maple Bridge reflected in the scenery – a truly immersive atmosphere. The temple itself isn't large, but every step reveals a new scene, imbued with a sense of Zen. It's quite crowded, making it a good place to quietly appreciate the thousand-year-old poetic charm. It's a cultural attraction worth visiting in Suzhou.
