Beiling Park (also known as Zhaoling Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty) is located in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China. It serves as the mausoleum of Hong Taiji, the second founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty, and his empress Xiaoduanwen. It is also one of the relatively well-preserved ancient imperial mausoleum complexes in China. As the largest and best-preserved among the "Three Imperial Mausoleums Outside Shanhaiguan" (the other two being Fuling and Yongling), Beiling Park combines historical cultural heritage with urban leisure functions. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site (as part of the Imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties extension) and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Beiling Park was initially constructed in 1643 (the 8th year of Chongde) and largely completed in 1651 (the 8th year of Shunzhi), with subsequent expansions during the Kangxi and Qianlong eras. It stands as a prime example of Qing Dynasty imperial mausoleum architecture blending Manchu and Han cultural elements. The complex features meticulously arranged structures including the Main Red Gate, Stele Pavilion, Long'en Hall, Square City, Crescent City, and the Treasure Dome (underground palace), all showcasing exquisite carvings and the grandeur of early Qing tomb architecture. The park boasts over 2,000 ancient pines aged 300+ years, forming a unique "ancient pine forest" view. Its southern section serves as a modern park area with lakes, flower fields, and tree-lined pathways offering seasonal charm: cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, golden ginkgo leaves in fall, and serene snowscapes in winter.Shenyang · 49.2km from Xinmin

Visiting Zhang Xueliang's former residence and the Shenyang Financial Museum together was a fantastic experience. The architectural details of the Grand Green Building are particularly exquisite, with the brick and stone textures conveying a profound sense of history. The lifelike wax figures in the Financial Museum are incredibly realistic, making you feel as if you've instantly traveled back to a bank lobby during the Republic of China era, with even the abacuses on the counters arranged meticulously. This immersive setting is much more interesting than simply looking at artifacts, and it's also great for taking photos ✨. Although it was quite tiring to walk around, being able to feel the prosperity and vicissitudes of that era is definitely worth the ticket price 👍.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

Overall, it's pretty good. Once you get there, you can rent a car. I didn't know how to drive at first, but with my years of driving experience, I learned quickly. This saves energy. You can download an app, locate yourself, and check out the attractions and waiting times. Boys might like the Dinosaur Extinction attraction, as well as some thrilling rides. Some attractions require separate fees, such as the Ice and Snow World and the Petting Zoo!

We took our kids back to China for summer vacation and had our first experience at a Northeastern Chinese bathhouse. We absolutely loved all the facilities and services. Children under 1.4 meters tall get in for free, making it incredibly good value for money. If we have the chance, we'll definitely bring our family and friends to experience this top-tier bathhouse in China!

The attraction itself is so-so, not much to see or see, and not many buildings; it's just a large park. Our tour guide, Mr. Li, led the group and provided excellent and comprehensive explanations. Without his explanations, we wouldn't have understood anything. He talked a lot about the history, the origins of the buildings, and so on.

I rode a shared bike along Zhongjie Street in Shenyang to get to the Shenyang Imperial Palace. The street was really lively, but apparently, you can't park bikes along the way; you have to go around to a farther area to park. It seems that the city center commercial street isn't suitable for shared bikes. The next morning, I walked back to Zhongjie Street. There weren't many people on the street that morning. I saw Liu Laogen Grand Stage, but when I turned into the Imperial Palace, there was already a long queue waiting for it to open.
