Ananuri Fortress, which was featured on the cover of Lonely Planet - Georgia, is an ancient castle built in the 13th century. It was once the private castle of the lord of the Aragvi feudal dynasty and also a military fortress. The Aragvi dynasty was overthrown in the 18th century, and the place was occupied by subsequent rulers. It remained a castle fortress until the 19th century, and the broken walls and ruins tell of the war and glory of the past. From a small slope without guardrails on the side of the wall, you can climb up the tower and take pictures of the castle and the lake from the small hole in the tower. The stone stairs to the tower can only accommodate one person, and you need to use your hands and feet.

The Mother Fortress is located high in Georgia, from where you can see the whole of Georgia. In the evening, you can take a cable car up the mountain to wait for the sun to set and watch the sunset. The temperature in Tbilisi at night is only over 20 degrees in this season, which is really comfortable.

Tbilisi Stonehenge is a newly built building, built on a high point on the edge of the city, overlooking the panoramic view of the city and the sea view of Tbilisi. The sculptures on the Stonehenge are divided into three parts, the bottom layer is the biblical story, the middle layer is the saint story, and the top layer is the people's family story. It is quite shocking under the reflection of the blue sky and white clouds. It is one of the must-see attractions in Tbilisi.

The Monastery of the Cross (Jvari Church) was built at the end of the 6th century AD. It is the place where Saint Nino first erected a cross when Christianity was introduced to Georgia in the 4th century AD. Lermontov, a great Russian poet, wrote the famous poem "The Child Monk" here. The church houses a portrait of Saint Nino and a huge wooden cross called the Cross of Saint Nino, which attracts a large number of believers to make pilgrimages. The monastery is located on a rocky mountaintop near the ancient city of Mtskheta, overlooking the confluence of the Kura River and the Aragvi River and the ancient city of Mtskheta.

The Georgia-Russia Friendship Monument was built in 1983 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the friendship between Georgia and Soviet Russia. A friendship monument corresponding to the friendship arch was erected in a square in Moscow. Today, the political and diplomatic relations between Georgia and Russia are a little ironic, but it does not hinder the daily exchanges between the people of the two countries. The monument stands at an altitude of 2,384 meters in the form of an arch. The inner wall uses bright mosaic tile murals to show the historical scenes of Georgia and Russia. The observation deck is an excellent place to overlook the Caucasus Mountains.

Freedom Square is the absolute center of the west bank of the Kura River. The towering statue of St. George slaying the dragon shines with golden light even on cloudy days, overlooking all living things. With this as the center of the circle, there is no need to deliberately plan the route. The streets in all directions can become an excellent route for exploring the city.
