"Beautiful lake with a small but very attractive temple to visit. The small pagoda on an islet in the middle of the lake is unique. It is very pleasant to cross the red bridge to visit the temple and walk around the lake which shores are not crowded with people."

Highlights: Hoan Kiem Lake is located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, surrounded by tree-lined walkways. It is a place for locals to enjoy the cool and take a walk. There are two buildings on the lake, Ngoc Son Temple on the north and Tortoise Tower on the south. In addition to the beautiful lake view, you can also see the typical local architectures around. On the northeast side of Hoan Kiem Lake, there is a red The Huc Bridge, which connects to the Yushan Temple in the center of the northern part of the lake. It is a perfect spot for taking pictures.

"Vietnam is in the Han cultural circle, and since ancient times, it has been in addition to the faith of Buddha, Taoism and Confucian culture. In modern 1858, the Xianfeng Dynasty brought Christianity and Catholicism into the Central and Southern Peninsula with the French colonial period. Vietnam coexisted with multi-religious and multi-faith. St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known as Hanoi Cathedral, was completed on Christmas Eve 1886 during the French colonial period. Free free visit to prayer during the day, and wedding activities are more special, which is now a popular scene in Hanoi."

Highlights: St. Joseph's Cathedral is an ancient church in Hanoi. It is a representative French building in Hanoi. The Cathedral features a complex main altar inside, fitted with stained-glass windows, and consists of two square-shaped towers. The gate of the Cathedral will only open when the mass is conducted, and visitors need to use side doors when it is closed. Opposite to the Cathedral is Nha Tho Street, where Hanoi's emerging boutique shops and cafes are located.

"Many years ago, I read a travel book about Vietnam, and I learned that Hanoi's water puppets have become the symbol and national essence of Vietnam. Therefore, I booked tickets through Trip.com for a long time before departure. I wanted to have a better location, so I booked a luxury seat. The actual feeling is that the seat is still very middle. Also, if you want to go ahead. If you see more clearly, you need to buy the most high-end ticket types. Overall, you are very satisfied. There are almost no seats on the scene. The musical instruments on both sides and the singing and harmony of middle-aged women make the whole performance more three-dimensional and local ethnic style. On the right side of the ticket office, there is a poster-like slogan. It is a rare experience to show that this is the world's longest-running water puppet drama. But the tip for the on-site purchase is actually only 150000 10,000 dong, about 10 yuan lower than the purchase price of Trip.com, and you need to change tickets in advance. The ticket exchange place is about 700 meters west of the performance theater. A local good travel agency belongs to the 36th Street area, so this drama seems to be 50 minutes. In fact, the ticket exchange plus walking, and waiting, are actually close to 1:5 hours."

The performance method is to set up a stage on the pool, and the actors hidden in the background use long lines or bamboo poles to manipulate the puppets to perform. Various actions and scenes. Thang Long water puppet show is highly valued by Vietnamese society and plays an important role in international cultural exchanges.

"A rare breed of turtle enjoys this popular lake almost as much as countless locals and tourists. Hoan Kiem Lake is a dynamic daily tableau, from morning walks amid locals doing exercises on the shore, to young couples water-gazing on park benches, to the multiple shopping and sight-seeing opportunities in the vicinity. Centrally located in the city, Hoan Kiem Lake serves as a massive home base, and provides endless people-watching and recreational opportunities on the edge of the Old Quarter."

Highlights: Thirty-sixth Street is located in the old quarter on the north side of Hoan Kiem Lake and is the main commercial street in Hanoi. In the past, each street basically only sold commodities of the same industry, so it was called "walking street". The whole neighborhood is prosperous and primitive, fashionable and old-fashioned, there are many characteristic craft shops, and there are also some local artist studios. Thirty-sixth Street sells a wide variety of handicrafts and souvenirs. You can find Vietnamese silk products, national costumes, special decorations, etc. You have to shop around, or you can bargain properly with the store. There are many studios of local artists on the street. Although the facade is simple, the works are very individual. There are many local Vietnamese snacks for tasting on the street, such as rice noodles, rice noodles, etc. There are also various night market stalls at night, accompanied by instrumental music performances. On Thirty-Six Streets, you can often see three or five people sitting in a small circle, including some foreigners. Everyone sits together to drink beer or tea, chat, and sit for hours.
