Have you recently lost or misplaced one or more items on a Grest Western Railway (GWR) service or station? Don’t panic! There’s still a high chance it’ll show up again. Below, we break down the next steps you need to take for the best chance of having your items returned safely.

How do I get my lost item back from GWR?

Firstly, you’ll want to notify GWR that you’ve lost or left something on one of their services. You can search for your lost item using this link.

Through this webpage, you’ll be asked to describe the item in a single word (don’t worry too much about being accurate/descriptive - you can always change it later if the results returned don’t match what you’re looking for) and mark the date the item was lost.

Once you submit this data, you’ll see a list of items on missingx.com. Additional details such as colour, date found, and the train station where the item was turned in will appear. Browse this list to see if the item you have misplaced is present.

Note that it can take a few days for your item to be turned in after being found, so we recommend checking every few days if your item does not appear on this list.

If you want to progress the search further, you can also register your item as lost with GWR using this link.
