    Basics info

    Tight road, no rv’s permitted, busy parking lot, crowded on a Monday. Pay at kiosk to get on trail. Museum is free but you need permit to park there.

    Wow! What a beach!

    very long beach. Flat. Lots of driftwood. Visitor Centre was partially closed. Good stuff there inside.

    Good place to visit to learn some of the history of the Pacific Rim.

    They have some very interesting exhibits and history of the area as well as a lovely view from the decks of Wickaninnish Beach. The trail out to South Beach is really worth the time as well.
