This museum is very large and has a good location, right next to the cathedral, and there is a light show in the two nights, and admission is free. Of course, the museum is closed at this time, and the light show only borrows part of the venue. Isn't it unrecognizable?
It’s awesome. There are free tickets in the Barcelona Card. The ticket for young people under 30 is not expensive, only 2.4 Euros, but it is definitely worth the money. The museum is very large, there are 3 or 4 floors, each floor has a lot of things to visit, my friend and I ran into it by mistake. The time is too tight and I didn't finish the shopping carefully. It is a pity.
Disclaimer: While I haven't been inside the Museu Frederic Mares, I happened to spend a lot of time outside of it. The area surrounding the museum is simply beautiful, from the courtyard to the architecture. It's a serene escape from the busier streets of Barcelona.
The Frederick Museum is a unique collection museum that preserves the collections of the founder, the sculptor Frederic Mares (1893-1991), all cams formed the heritage of the city of Barcelona through his donation in 1946 Share. Two years later, this museum was founded in the heart of the ancient Royal Palace of the Counts in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. The original Verger hotel or courtyard garden remains unchanged.
The rich castle in the garden, an exquisite museum with many exhibits, is worth visiting.
