First, let me say the dolphins were awesome. Our trainer, Jose Luiz, was great. However, the whole experience went from feeling like $1,000 well spent for our family to feeling like a tourist trap when it came to photos.You are not allowed to bring a camera or phone or the like in with you. A photographer is assigned to your family. The only photos you will have of this experience will be those taken by them which I will cost you around $400. That is in addition to the $1,000 it cost to do the dolphin swim. You’re not told that cost beforehand. There is also not an option to buy a single print or the like — it’s all or nothing. So the experience, for us, was really spoiled by this high pressure approach to the photography. It’s a huge shame. They could offer them for a much lower price and get more people to take them up on the package — especially if they told you ahead of time what to expect. The pictures made the experience feel like you are being scammed. Sadly, this is not an experience I’ll recommended to friends or family or do ourselves again when we’re back. If you’re just looking for fun with the dolphins then this is great. If you’d like to have some photos to take back too then I’d look elsewhere or just know you’ll be adding another 50% or more to the cost of the experience to have those pictures.
