Caerleon Roman Fortress Baths

The ancient Roman fortress of Calien is located in southern Wales. It was once the seat of the Second August Legion. There were 5,000 soldiers and horses stationed here. Today, a large number of ancient Roman ruins have been unearthed here. When you come here, you can visit the fortress baths museum, the huge prototype arena and the ancient Roman barracks are also open to the public free of charge all year round. Now the amphitheater has been destroyed, and only a few surviving high platforms remain. There is a museum of the Roman Legionnaires near the public baths.
