Hiking Mt Pinatubo was long ago on my bucket list - so glad it finally happened. After a thrilling Jeep ride to the starting point of the trail, a guide led us on our 1.5-2 hrs each way. The trail wasn't difficult nor ardous to hike. The views on top and lakeside of the crater, as well as the hike itself, are more than rewarding for everything.Not-so-fun fact the other morning: Our friendly host and owner of Casa Hermogina informed us, that last night the Taal Volcano erupted - the very day 1 year after we hiked there.

Valli Adventures
A day & night view! The Manila Cathedral, officially known as the Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, is located in the Intramuros district of Manila, Philippines. It is one of the oldest and most important churches in the country. The cathedral has undergone several rebuilds due to natural disasters and war damage, with the current structure dating back to 1958.The Manila Cathedral holds a significant place in Philippine history and culture. It has been the venue for many important religious and state events, including papal visits and important government functions. The cathedral's architecture is a blend of various styles, including Romanesque, Neo-Romanesque, and Gothic influences, making it a notable landmark in Manila.Inside, the cathedral features beautiful stained glass windows, intricate carvings, and religious artifacts. It is a place of worship, reflection, and pilgrimage for both locals and tourists interested in exploring the country's religious heritage. The cathedral's historical and cultural importance, along with its stunning architecture, makes it a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Philippine history and architecture.

Chinatown is not far from Manila Cathedral, about 15 minutes walk. The whole area is a bit old, the streets are relatively narrow, the environment is very general, except for the Chinese gathering, it is not a good place to go shopping.

Tagaytay is a popular holiday town south of Manila. Known for its relaxing and cool breeze and picturesque view of the dormant Taal volcano. If you want to escape the busy city for a while and have a joyride, Tagaytay is the place to be. Many restaurants along the way and pasalubong centers to stop by for a quick buy. This was at SMDC Wind residences where I spent my birthday a few years ago. It was really cool and windy outside.

Outdoor Diving
Chenhutamu
Port Galera, also known as Dolphin Bay, is a diving resort for short. Don't go for people who don't dive, because there is nothing else to do. There are a lot of dives here, and it is very close to the shore. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to go to sea by boat. It is a good place to brush bottles.

I only learned by ferry back to Batangas, and I also saved insurance and outlying island tax! Don't worry, what's more cool is that watching the sea view halfway is equivalent to a free cruise! It was only 13:00 when I landed. I wanted to take the car directly to the next destination, Legazpi, Liyashibi City, to avoid the twists and turns of returning to Manila by car. Because I was not familiar with the local area, I only saw that there were 3 buses at the station in the pier and returned to Manila at the same time. It was rare and convenient. Surprisingly, the road was smooth and it was only 2 hours away.

As a world heritage, the appearance is also very important. I announced that Baowei Church won the beauty contest in four Filipino-style baroque churches. (Haven't I seen another Miagao church a little arbitrary [Yun Pai]) ,

Volcanoes

I went there once in April 2015 and the Tal volcano is located in a lake in Dayatai. At that time, there were more green plants at the foot of the mountain and Phoenix flowers. You can ride the mountain or walk. The more you go to the mountain, there is no vegetation. There are some small holes on the surface of the exposed soil, and white smoke with sulfur color is emitted. You have to wear a mask on the road. The smoke is very large, the air is heated, and the soles of your feet feel a little hot. When you reach the summit, you can see a blue pool of the crater. It is said that there was an outbreak in 2019, and the mountain was cut half? This trip can be regarded as a lifetime series.

精灵背包游侠
Seeing that there are still several tourists playing in the water nearby, I don't care so much, re-"flipped" into the arms of the sea...Later I saw the word "Batangas" on the ferry, so excited! It turns out that there is a ferry to the white beach? Avoid the trouble of taking a bus back to town. At one point, the price is the same as when you come, and you can start the boat when you are full.
