"Chasing Dreams of Tongliang Dragon" combines Tongliang dragon dance, Tongliang dragon lantern tying techniques and other intangible cultural heritage elements, and the form of expression combines Tongliang's thousand-year intangible heritage and modern technology. The entire performance lasts 60 minutes and is divided into three chapters: "Dream Arise", "Dream Dance" and "Dream Come True". It not only focuses on intangible heritage, but also modern technological innovation. Packed with modern technological visual elements, the dragon lantern and dragon dance incorporates a new visual interpretation, presenting a unique thousand-year-old intangible heritage with unique new era visual and spiritual connotation aesthetics. He has participated in major events such as the National Day Celebration of New China four times, the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and the 2019 Beijing World Horticultural Exposition, and has carried out cultural exchanges in more than 30 countries and regions. In 2009 and 2019, he participated in the Tiananmen National Day Ceremony twice as a dragon dance representative. The Tongliang Dragon Dance Team is a "China National Dragon Dance Team" awarded by the China Dragon and Lion Sports Association, and is known as the "China's No. 1 Dragon".
