Only go if you need something to do
Not worth the time the most interesting trails were closed and have been closed for 2 years. The staff were less than helpful and seemed to have an attitude that we were interrupting their day.
Being able to walk around the lava fields around the volcano was fascinating. Note that most of the trails (from what I saw) are on the gravely soil created by the lava flow. It can be tougher than us...
