Every year when winter comes, many people in my social circle go to Hemu in Xinjiang, but I prefer to travel in the opposite direction. Indeed, those willing to endure what others cannot, can see the sights others can only dream of🏔️ When I drove myself on the road here, the real snow country city began to appear before my eyes. 📍Namtso is located in Damxung County 🚗It takes 3h to drive from Lhasa to Namtso (in snowy weather, allow for 3-4 hours of travel) 🎫Due to the free admission policy in winter, you only need to buy a round-trip sightseeing bus ticket for 85 yuan at the Namtso Tourist Distribution Center to visit Namtso (mainly to Tashi Peninsula) 💡The best time to visit is to arrive at noon, because the sightseeing bus to Tashi Peninsula takes 1h, the plateau weather is changeable, the weather is relatively stable at noon, the light is good and it's warmer ❄️The altitude of Namtso is 4700 meters, it is not recommended for friends who have just arrived in Lhasa to go there, it is suitable to be arranged in the later itinerary, and the wind in winter is really very strong, so it is necessary to be well-prepared for warmth, luckily I wore a very thick parka down jacket that day! But being young means being fearless, how cold can it be, we are still passionate, go and embrace all the beautiful scenery, Tibet really has the power to heal everything, friends, have a pleasant journey!!!

Do not trust online travel companions for Tibet! Here's some advice from my experience for those who are visiting Tibet for the first time. ‼️ Many online companions are actually travel scams! They trick you into booking a tour and then make excuses for not being able to go... I met my travel companions in a group, and since we met in person and played together, at least it was real. You must bring 🧳 ✅ Glucose and down jackets, so do not underestimate the weather in Tibet. Be careful not to be treated like a piglet. 3️⃣ Make sure you understand the itinerary when joining a tour group, the first thing to check in the contract is if there's anything wrong with the itinerary! The second thing is to check the accommodations and meals. Conclusion I was very afraid of altitude sickness for my first trip to Tibet, but once I was in Lhasa, I realized that altitude sickness wasn't as scary as I thought. Altitude sickness really varies from person to person, so everyone doesn't need to be too nervous about it.
