The entire ancestral hall has three entrances and four-side rooms, with carved windows in the cloister, and painted beams in the arches. After the reconstruction, the historical features have been restored. In the summer of 1938, the First and Second Detachments of the New Fourth Army successively advanced behind enemy lines in southern Jiangsu and launched an anti-Japanese guerrilla war. In November of the following year, the Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army was established in Shuixi Village. And the development of the anti-Japanese base area in southern Jiangsu. In the entire exhibition hall, photos, real objects, charts, electronic models and other exhibits reflect the fighting process of the New Fourth Army Jiangnan troops going deep behind the enemy in southern Jiangsu, creating and developing the anti-Japanese base in southern Jiangsu with Maoshan as the center. On the left side of the memorial hall is the Generals Hall, which displays the life stories of 76 generals of the New Fourth Army who were awarded the rank of major general or above after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The first floor displays the life achievements of marshals and generals and more than 80 precious photos of them in various historical periods, reproducing their glorious battles. The second floor is the introduction of the life of 4 generals, 8 lieutenant generals and 62 major generals. The exhibits include binoculars, briefcases, trophies and medals used by the generals.
