Well worth the drive if the light is good
Staying in Mesilla, we decided to try this scenic site due to the reviews here. Late in the day when the light is good for photos, it really is worth the drive and not far outside town. Also beautiful...
Worth the stop!
Stopping at the rest stop was worth the experience. Loved the road runner. I wish there was more information about his creation. Beautiful view of the Las Cruces area.

We had read about this sculpture, but really had no idea as to where it was. Headed out of town on I 10 and lo, there it was! Roadrunners are my favorite and so cool to spot one!
