Car park (very small!) & ticket office right outside the castle itself. Considering Balvenie is metres away from the huge Glenfiddich distillery & very close to Dufftown, this glorious castle has a tr...
Restricted view
Like so many castles this one is closed but can still be partially viewed from outside perimeter fencing. For those interested enough the site is a short walk from the Glenfiddich Distillery.
Castle Ruins
Cool castle ruins adjacent to the grounds of Glenfiddich Distillery. It was not open in early April - not sure if because of Covid or the season, but we just enjoyed it from a distance. I would not go...
Majestic castle ruins
Although the castle is closed until April, it’s worth driving up to see it (around the corner from Glenfiddich distillery) and the neighbouring highland cattle!
Nice castle
The castle is closed till spring so we walked around and saw the castle from the outside and took some picture and it was nice.
