Beautiful place right out of studio ghibli movie. I wanted to go swimming, but the water was ice cold! The waterfall backdrop would be a perfect place for a proposal or even a wedding!!
Make Side Trip
The waterfall is only 12 meters high and not very impressive, but it is a good idea to have lunch or a break here after your visit to Ichijodani Asakurashi Ruin, especially in summer.
Nice, but don't make a special trip
We visited the falls on a day trip around Fukui. The falls were pretty small compared to some of the falls we have in the US, but was a sight nice to see. Not sure I would go out of my way to visit --...
Worth a look.
There is a lot of water and it is powerful. Sa 々 It is also famous as the place where Kojiro Ki got a swallow return. It is especially recommended in summer and there is a fishing pond nearby.

Near the Ichijodani Asakura ruins, Kanosa 々 It is a waterfall that Kojiro Ki created a swallow return. The waterfall with a head of 12 meters has a lot of water, and it felt dynamic for the scale, and although it was a midsummer day, the cool air with water droplets was pleasant.
