This place holds most of the memories and photographs of the affected south regions by Tsunami tragedy happened Dec 26th 2004. The statue represents the height of a wave hit here.
After we visit tsunami museum,we visit Tsunami Honganji Vihara. It’s near by tsunami museum. Don’t forget to visit this statue given by the Japanese people after tsunami.
Read the story before visiting the place and seeing the statue. It is high with wolg that swallowed the cities in 2004.... Don't forget to take off shoes
