Beautiful lake and lovely town
We visited here as family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 9 and 5). We parked up for free right near the lake. We had a lovely walk around some of the lake and then into the town. The town is lovely, v...
Fantastic place
Loads of activities to keep all happy or just walk round the paths which cost you nothing. Good clean toilets at Casino end and cafes never far away.
Boating, walking, great views, loop walk or bike ride - what more could you want? Also great and cooler in summer!
Beautiful lake up in the Vosges even on a grey-ish day! Has an amazing long walk around the whole lake which apparently takes 3.5hrs (I suspect it might be a lot less for someone fit and without kids ...
Great Region
The lake and the region around are perfect for active people, be it summer or winter. Lots of outdoor activities are offered, great restaurants nearby and lots of forests surrounding the lake.
Nice lake
The hiking tour around the lake is very nice. The water in the lake is quite cold - so if you want to swim you better do it on a hot day.
