Closes Oct 1 for the season- no one pays this we drive 2 hours and got there to find out it was closed very disappointing to see the sign on the door

VERY NICE VISITOR CENTER

Clean bathrooms. Digital displays, a fun scale to weigh yourself, comparing how much you weigh vs. other animals. The gift shop has lots of Alaskan made crafts.

Don't miss seeing the SPECTACULAR ART of Libby Dulac at the Visitor Centre AND in the basement of the Anglican Church.

Worth a visit for the culture and history

We were the only ones in the center and really enjoyed the visit. It has great exhibits and excellent local knowledge. Please watch the movie, it is just breathtaking.
