    Yuanxu Park すぐ

    Original Text

Just off Motomachi Park is the statue of Admiral Perry, known for his arrival of the Kurofune. It seems that this place was selected as a venerable place near the US Consulate established after the opening of the port, and the green space where this statue stands is also Perry Square. He is also an important person in the sense that he brought the exoticism of Hakodate.
