It is a temple with the graveyard of Nobuyasu Matsudaira, the eldest son of Ieyasu Tokugawa, who was suspected of being accused of Oda Nobunaga and committed seppuku at nearby Futamata Castle. It is recalled that it was a hard event for Ieyasu during the Hamamatsu period, which had a lot of trouble due to losing battles.
