    toshizo hijikata sleeps.

    Original Text

Read as Sekidenji. I visited when I walked through Hino, which has many places related to Shinsengumi. It is right next to Toshizo Hijikata's fabric and has a grave. Since Toshizo was a beautiful boy, there are still many fans and many people visit on the anniversary of May 11, but when I visited, there were no worshipers and I was able to visit quietly.

what was the scenery at that time?

    Original Text

It is about 10 minutes from Manganji Station on the monorail. There are many hijikata houses around, and many of the tombs of Ishidaji Temple are written as hijikata. When Hijikata lived, it would have been a landscape of fields and rice fields as far as the eye can see. I visited the temple with that in mind.

    to visit hijikata toshizo's grave.

    Original Text

About 10 minutes walk from Tama Monorail Manganji Temple. As mentioned in other reviews, the area is only the house of the surname "Hijikata". Ishida-dera Temple, one of the seven gods of good fortune in Hino, is famous for its tomb of Toshizo Hijikata, a hero at the end of the Edo period. However, he is killed in Hakodate, Hokkaido, so there is no ashes. It seems that it is still not clear where the ashes are. (Bury in Goryokaku with other war dead ...

There is a tomb of Toshizo Hijikata.

    Original Text

There is a tomb of Toshizo Hijikata. There are only tombs of the surname Hijikata, and you can see that the clan was a wealthy farmer in this area. There is an information board for the grave in an easy-to-understand manner.

There is a monument of toshimi hijikata

    Original Text

A temple of the Shingon sect at the confluence of the Tama River and Asakawa River. The last temple of Mt. Takahata Kongoji Temple. It is located in Ishida, where Toshizo Hijikata of Shinsengumi was born. In the precincts, there is a giant kaya tree that is thick 4.5m, 26m high, and is said to be 400 or 600 years old. If you go to the graveyard under the kaya tree, you will find the "Hijikata Toshimi Yoshitoyoyuki Monument". Hijikata died in the Hakodate War, no body was found, and the situation of death in the war is unknown. Hino is just his birthplace, so what conveys Hijikata's activities ...
