Read as Sekidenji. I visited when I walked through Hino, which has many places related to Shinsengumi. It is right next to Toshizo Hijikata's fabric and has a grave. Since Toshizo was a beautiful boy, there are still many fans and many people visit on the anniversary of May 11, but when I visited, there were no worshipers and I was able to visit quietly.
It is about 10 minutes from Manganji Station on the monorail. There are many hijikata houses around, and many of the tombs of Ishidaji Temple are written as hijikata. It is located in Ishida, where Toshizo Hijikata of Shinsengumi was born. In the precincts, there is a giant kaya tree that is thick 4.5m, 26m high, and is said to be 400 or 600 years old. If you go to the graveyard under the kaya tree, you will find the "Hijikata Toshimi Yoshitoyoyuki Monument". Hijikata died in the Hakodate War, no body was found, and the situation of death in the war is unknown. Hino is just his birthplace, so what conveys Hijikata's activities ...
