xi Nan, an ancient village, boasts white walls, black tiles, and a green wonderland
Some say that without visiting Xixi Nan, one hasn't truly visited Huangshan. Founded in the first year of the Xiantong era during the reign of Emperor Yizong of Tang, which is 860 AD, Xixi Nan has a history of about 1200 years. It flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties, once known as 'the richest in She County'. Now, over 100 Ming and Qing buildings are preserved, especially the Old House Pavilion and the Green Railing Pavilion, which stand as witnesses to the ancient charm. Most of the other cultural landscapes have been destroyed, and the historical sites still fall short compared to Xidi, Hongcun, and Chengkan. It is less commercialized, but in recent years, it has gradually become known due to its proximity to the Huangshanbei high-speed train station. It has quickly gained popularity because of the maple and poplar forests stretching for kilometers along the Fengle River. The green trees provide shade, the green waters surround, and the lush vegetation is rich and dripping with greenery, creating a wetland ecology that stretches for miles. The verdant greenery is like a forest world out of a fairy tale, humorously dubbed by netizens as 'a green wonderland'.
Xixi Nan ancient village is still free to visit. It is a very unique ancient village in Huangshan. The locations of villages in southern Anhui are mostly surrounded by mountains and rivers, but Xixi Nan is surrounded by a vast wilderness, a flat plain that is considered the first plain above Shexian. On the south bank of the river, there are camping and RV bases, attracting many self-driving tourists and adding a trendy vibe, making it more suitable for check-ins. From April to October each year is the most beautiful season for the Xixi Nan wetlands. Looking into the distance, the green mountains are lush, and up close, the chirping of insects and birds can be heard. At the entrance of the village by the stream, there is a wide dam waterfall and beach. Walking into the village, the lush maple and poplar forests stretch for miles, reflecting off the meandering Fengle River, creating an interesting contrast. The white walls and black tiles of the Hui-style ancient buildings complement the green waters and mountains, sketching a lively and beautiful picture. Especially when walking on the wooden bridge, with the breeze blowing, the cicadas singing, and the sunlight casting mottled shadows through the leaves, the swaying tree shadows and the interlacing reflections seem to unveil a secluded and beautiful realm. The ancient houses have now been transformed into homestays and bars, where one can enjoy a cup of coffee, a good book, and the slow pace of life, filtering out the rush. This is Xixi Nan, transcendentally beautiful, profoundly beautiful, peacefully beautiful, and so authentically real.

Xixinan is a quaint little village with lots of old folks. There are vegetable patches and many pet dogs around. it’s a good place to spend 1-2 hours. It’s surrounded by a little river with simple wooden bridges. The architecture is ancient and interesting to look at. The main attraction. would be an old mansion with no furnishing and an ancient pavilion nearby.
This is an attraction located in Huizhou District, Huangshan City. It is relatively original, and the wetland is basically the original style. I took my grandson to play in the water and came here again in mid-August. [View] Original nature, [Fun] Grandson playing in the water adults, [Cost-effective] Super high, free open! There is also camping here! !
Xixi South, a fairy-tale village, the stream passed through, the white wall hanging on the ground, the green trees were covered, and the wooden bridge was passed. It was really the Wizard of Oz. The village is not big, walk around for more than an hour, take pictures and punch in very well, not far from Tunxi Old Street, it is worth a walk. There is a large parking lot at the entrance of the village. There is no ticket for the ancient village.
There are some businesses in the ancient villages that I went to temporarily, but it was just too good. The scenery is very original and the folk customs are simple. What is the original ecology? The village has built a road along the river and opened to traffic, and the other side of the river is still uncultivated fields. This year, the dry river bed dried, I stepped on the stone to the other side of the river, stepped on the road that was the bottom of the river to the entrance of the village, all the way to the leaves and other names of seeds stuck to my pants legs. To what extent is the folk customs simple? Let’s put it this way, I bought 5 yuan persimmons, my grandmother invited me to pick them on my own tree, and took me into the house to pick them casually, and finally gave me 7-8 dollars; I asked for a way, the grandfather was afraid that I could not find it, dragged his legs with mobility problems, walked for7-8 minutes, and personally sent me to the intersection [love] to be moved. I hope that people here will always be happy and happy.
Personal feeling is still very good, but unfortunately when I went today, the river was a bit dry... The whole landscape was greatly reduced, but there was still a feeling of the Wizard of Oz walking in the woods. The whole scenic spot is free. Although the scale of the village is not as good as Chengkan, in fact, Huizhou architecture is half a catty. It is really not necessary to spend more than 100 tickets to go! On the contrary, these non-charged attractions are more grounded, with less commercial atmosphere, and you can really feel the living atmosphere of the local residents when you walk in the ancient village. Here to remind everyone that there is an ancient village in the ancient village. There is an old man sitting at the door. The charge is 5 yuan per person to visit the house. Don’t go. It’s very pitted. Just look at the door. There is nothing inside, but this old man said that the inner courtyard of the house is very large. There is more than an acre of gardens...planted a variety of flowers and plants, and said that there are many precious souvenirs stored in the house, worth seeing and the like, they are all deceptive, I really didn't expect the old people in the ancient village to become dishonest... I did a pit and cheated!
