Nice stop for lunch
We decided to swing by the College Cove Beach after a morning of hiking at Patrick’s Point. The hike down can be steep but doable. The beach was not overly crowded. Plenty of shaded areas to sit under...
Not worth the hike
We started down the steep trail to get to this beach but it was so poor and steep and would require a serious climb back up that we stopped and went back. So many other beaches around - not worth it...
Love this place
One of our favorite places to hike along the beach. We also love the walk out to Elk Point. We can almost see our house from the promontory
Beware of car vandalism.
It used to be a favorite beach for locals, fun surfing on large days, and warming by a fire on cold days. Now a State beach, no fires, steep trail access, but the fun is all gone, with the threat of h...
