Ksamil is one of the most beautiful coastal spots in Albania, and there are plenty of reasons why it stands out.

First, the sea. The water is incredibly clear, with shades that shift from light blue to turquoise. The beaches are small but very scenic, especially early in the morning when everything feels calm and unspoiled.

The small islands just offshore are a big highlight. You can swim to them or take a small boat. They’re very close and create a view that feels almost tropical.

It’s also right next to Butrint National Park, which adds a completely different experience. You can easily mix beach time with a visit to one of the most important archaeological sites in the region.

The food is another strong point. Seafront restaurants serve fresh fish, seafood, and traditional Albanian dishes, often at more reasonable prices than many other Mediterranean destinations.

The atmosphere is relaxed. It’s not overwhelmed by high-rise buildings or loud nightlife, so it’s ideal if you want a quieter, more laid-back kind of holiday.

And the location helps too. It’s very close to Sarandë, so you can easily go out, explore more beaches, or enjoy a bit more nightlife if you want.
