Bayannur Travel Guide

Bayannur is situated in the west of Inner Mongolia. The city has a rich history and is home to a number of Han dynasty tombs and settlements, as well as Qin and Han dynasty ruins of the Great Wall and ancient rock paintings. Surrounded by the Yin Mountains, the Hetao Plain and the Ulan Buh Desert, Bayannur is known for its spectacular varied scenery. There are over 300 lakes in the region, and the Yellow River also flows though the city. In addition to the stunning landscape, the unique local culture also attracts large numbers of tourists.
