I used to fish a lot.

    Original Text

I think it's prohibited now, but I used to fish in the moat of the Daikan mansion when I was in elementary school. I don't remember what I caught. It is the mansion of the Kuroda family that ruled this area. By the way, my teacher in elementary school was a descendant of the Kuroda family.

I stopped by because of a rumor that the plums were beautiful. Hina dolls were also displayed, and it was very nice to have an emotional atmosphere. The plums were also in bloom and had a nice atmosphere.

    Daikan

I'm not familiar with history, but it is a museum that exhibits works of art collected by Mr. Kuroda, who was a daikan (local governor) in the Edo period. You had such a hobby beside your position.

    Ume Festival

    Original Text

During the plum festival, nationally designated important cultural properties will be opened free of charge. Enjoy the plum blossoms by visiting the Kuroda family's mansion, which is not usually seen. The number of plum trees is not very large, but the scenery of the red plum blossoms in full bloom makes you feel the arrival of spring early.

    It's a small museum!

    Original Text

Although it is the Kuroda Daikanyashiki Museum, the admission fee for general adults is 150 yen. Photography is prohibited inside the museum. However, I thought that there was an exhibition that was historically valuable for the entrance fee of 150 yen. Although the Kuroda family still lives there, you can't visit the main building, so it feels like you can see the museum and see what it was like at that time. It seems good to visit during the plum season!
