The story from a local makes it interesting

Quite a big artificial lake. Really helps for the agricultural irrigation. Nice for 15 minutes or so. Or a picknick can be nice in this area.

    Beautiful Lake Views

The temple is not remembered (the impression is thin), but it remains in memory from the size of the Manno Ike pond that passed on the way

    Original Text

10 Although it is a temple that has pilgrimage many times, it still has no impression. 1200 It seems that there is an auspicious year, but it is difficult to remember if it is not a temple that is too much when pilgrimage to the sacred place of 88. However, I forgot one of the round trips to this temple, but the Manno Pond on the way is new to my memory. I recognize it as one of the leading reservoirs in Shikoku. It is said that the flood damage was cured by the flood control work of Kukai. The size of the reservoir is the best in Shikoku.

a huge reservoir built over 1,000 years ago

    Original Text

When I participated in the marathon held at the adjacent Sanuki Manno Park, I ran a few kilometers beside this pond. The weather was nice on the day, and the water surface was shining and the scenery was very beautiful. I was deeply moved to know that such a pond has a history of being built more than 1,000 years ago for irrigation.
