Great for a picnic and more
I would never swim here but you can. Children play area, fishing, boat launch, short trails well maintained. Spent a couple hours birding. It is open!
Great Beach on Lake Weir
Awesome place to go and hang out on the beach on Lake Weir. There is a picnic are and boat launch also. Our Church, Everyday Church has 2 outings there a year under the big pavilion.
A beautiful park!
Lovely setting on Lake Weir! Well maintained. Two beautiful playgrounds and wide clean trails. Very scenic! Quiet place to explore!
Fun
Was nice driving into the area. We saw a bunch of wild turkeys on way. The boat ramp area is real nice, and the grandkids loved it.

We were pleasantly surprised to find s truly Florida nature preserve that is family friendly. Nice playground for children. I don’t swim in Florida lakes but it is available to the brave at heart,
