This is what the dream of snow is like. This is a rare commercial place, surrounded by mountains, hidden in a world-avoiding village, left behind and independent. The village was built about 300 years ago. It was listed on the World Heritage List in 1995. The house construction here is very characteristic, there is no nail fixed, the house is warm in winter and cool in summer. The thatch covered by the roof is replaced every 40 years.
