One of the most remarkable features of Wulai is its breathtaking natural scenery. Nestled in the mountains, the village is surrounded by dense forests that boast a wide variety of flora and fauna. Visitors can embark on nature hikes and explore the many trails that wind through the verdant landscape. The mesmerizing Wulai Waterfall is a true spectacle to behold, with its powerful rush of water plunging down from a height of 80 meters. The sight and sound of the waterfall create a sense of tranquility and awe, offering a much-needed respite from the noise and stress of modern life.
Beyond its natural wonders, Wulai is a place where Taiwan's indigenous culture thrives. The village is home to the Atayal tribe, one of Taiwan's aboriginal groups, and offers a glimpse into their rich heritage. Traditional Atayal customs and practices are still preserved and celebrated in Wulai, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about indigenous traditions. The Atayal Museum showcases an impressive collection of artifacts, clothing, and tools that offer insights into the tribe's history and way of life. Traditional dance performances and music are also regularly organized, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant and rhythmic cultural expressions of the Atayal people.
Arrived in Wulai at night, stayed in the soup to eat wild vegetables, and slept beautifully at night. The next day, Wulai Old Street walked, took a small train to Wulai Waterfall, there is a coffee shop next to the waterfall, listen to the waterfall drink coffee to breathe enough oxygen, and fly a small butterfly, too beautiful
From the old street, you can walk or take a tram. There is also a cafe where you can see the waterfall directly up close. If you want to change the angle, you can also take the cable car from the top to see the rainbow.
When I was a child, I took a car to go to there is a big amusement park; but now it has become a sightseeing scenic spot. You can row and breathe the amount of fendorse on the high mountains. There are many stairs to go up, mainly to see the scenery.
Ulai is a beautiful place, I miss it very much.
A very special place is an area belonging to the Taiya people. Although the waterfall is not big, the water flow is fast and the environment is wide. A place worth relaxing.
From Wulai Old Street to the waterfall, see the hot spring Yongkou, walk down the mountain to soak in the hot spring ♨️, eat mountain snacks very good
