Original Text
The Cape Hangan Observatory in Shinkancho is a cape protruding into the Pacific Ocean. The national highway runs on the inland side, but the Hidaka Main Line runs near the cape. You will have to walk in the mountains from the parking lot to the observatory, but you can enjoy the spectacular view from the open place. You can take a picture of the cape and the Hidaka Main Line, but I couldn't take it because it's suspended now.
