So Peaceful
The gorge was fabulous, as we cruised along surrounded by Serbia and Romania. The Statue of King Decebelus carved into the rock and the giant iron gates - just a great big lock! Officially, the Iron...
Most scenic part of the cruise.
We sailed through the iron gates at the hydro electric power station, which was impressive. Then into the gorge, with it's steep sides also the famous statue of Decebalus.

The Danube at its best
What a brilliant experience! Expert ship steering through majestic cliffs, with so much history, including a huge rock carving and a beautiful monastery. A 'must'.
