Small church in Old Town!

The door was opened as I was passing by so I stopped and visited it. Briefly looked around and said my prayers here.

Most beautiful small church

Most people visiting Plodiv will walk past the church on the way up the hill to the Ampitheatre and look out for the tower. It is free to enter and well worth a quick look at the interior

It was about a 3-minute walk from the Catholic Cathedral of St. Ludwig. This is the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. It's a beautiful church, but there were no tourists. It was really like a church for the locals.
