    World war ll history

    This is an interesting war memorial. It is located about 15 minute walk from the town centre of Punta Arenas within the central cemetery. This is one of the nicest cemetery that I have seen.

    Part of British Naval history

    A very interesting piece of naval history explaining the situation which led to the scuttling of the mighty German battleship so early in WW II.

    Interesting place to visit

    If you are interested in history you should visit this place. The cemetery is great in general and this spot is something I always wanted to see.

    Another monument to a war ship

    Both in Chilie and Argentina they have monuments to the Graf Spree. This was a deadly war ship and the sinking changed a large part of South American History.
