with an hour to spare in melgaco we had a wander around the castello. stunning views into spain and the hills beyond from on top of the walls....lots of photo opportunities.....careful if you take kid...

Melgaco is a bit off the main road but worth visiting, not just the castelo which has walkable walls with fantastic views over the small city as well as the vicinity

Good tower with nice information about the city and what was the castle. Some interesting books over there, also.

Very well preserved but nothing special to see. Anyways, the interior of the tower has some nice information about it
