finally arrived in Cyprus 🇨🇾 Nicosia is also the world's last divided capital after the fall of the Berlin Wall. From South Nicosia to North Nicosia, you only need to walk through the buffer zone at the end of Ledras Street. There are checkpoints on both sides where passports are checked (no stamps). North Nicosia is controlled by Turkey, not widely recognized, and visa-free for all countries. South Nicosia allows visa-free entry with a Schengen visa (return the same way; it is not recommended to enter from the south and exit from the north, as there will be missing exit records). 🇨🇾 Nicosia One-Day Tour ✅ South Nicosia 📍 Shacolas Tower Museum and Observatory The observation deck offers a panoramic view of Nicosia, 🎫 2.5 euros 📍 Cyprus Museum Not very large, can be toured in about an hour 🆓 Close to the South Nicosia bus station 📍 Ledras Pedestrian street lined with restaurants and shops; walking to the end leads to the checkpoint ✅ North Nicosia 📍 Büyük Han An Ottoman caravanserai Now all restaurants and cafes, with various souvenir shops on the second floor 📍 Selimiye Camii Landmark building Selimiye Mosque, converted from a church to a mosque You can still see obvious traces of its past; headscarves are available for free inside 🆓 📍 Bandabulia Market A lively local market; sightseeing trains can be boarded at the entrance 📍 Kyrenia Gate Walking north leads to the city gate, and further north leads out of the city ✨ Food ☕️ Coffee Therapy (Old City) This café in South Nicosia is a real gem! Sitting on the street corner with a frappe is very relaxing 🥩 Piatsa Gourounaki Express Nicosia is full of grilled meat places; this one is very popular 🔥 The double platter is very generous, and the environment is nice~ 🚌 There is an intercity bus from Larnaca to Nicosia, route 42, 5 euros per person, about an hour's ride. 🔎 Cyprus Bus + Pame apps can be used together to check schedules. The former is convenient for route viewing but does not show real-time location, so switch between them to avoid missing stops. Board the bus at Bus Stop Finikoudes CPT Larnaka / Intercity Bustop in Larnaca The Nicosia terminal is Solomou Square Intercity Bus Stop 🌊 Because we were short on time and wanted to visit Ayia Napa, we took a direct bus from Larnaca to the Love Bridge in Ayia Napa, then took a bus to Nicosia. It works in practice~

#grouptourvssolotrip November in Larnaca is basically that “in-between” vibe—like, Cyprus can’t decide if summer is over or not! Early in the month, you’ll chill with temps around 20-23°C. By the end? Think cozy mid-teens. The sea stays totally dip-worthy at 22°C at first, but brace yourself—it gets chillier fast 😅. And the rain? Pure mystery! Sometimes it’s all blue skies, sometimes you get hit with classic Mediterranean downpours for a couple days. So don’t roll the dice—bring a cute, light rain jacket and just go with the flow. How does it *feel*? Picture this: Larnaca is basically exhaling. Those summer crowds on the Finikoudes Promenade? Gone. Families and noisy tour groups? Poof. Beach bars? Most are either closed or seriously winding down. Some little tavernas and souvenir stalls just say “see ya!” for the season or only open up on random weekends—kinda charming, kinda annoying 😅. But what stays open is honestly the real 🔥. The Larnaca Salt Lake? November is peak time because the flamingos start rolling in from October! Seeing hundreds of them against moody skies—sooo Insta-worthy 🦩✨. The Church of Saint Lazarus (Plateia Agiou Lazarou, 6020 Larnaca) is open year-round and is never packed this time of year. You’ve got the Larnaca Archaeological Museum (Plateia Kalogreon, 6023 Larnaca), the Medieval Castle (Larnaka Castle, Athinon Avenue, 6022 Larnaca), and the charming old Turkish quarter—all relaxed, all super accessible. And local restaurants? This is when they shine! You’ll get chill service, awesome tables, and that “local’s only” feeling. So… is November worth it? If you want daily beach parties, non-stop swims, and 100% sunshine, NGL, it’s risky. But if you’re here for easy walks, foodie adventures, wallet-friendly prices, and a chance to see what Larnaca is like when it’s just the locals? It’s a total win! This is the “secret season” the cool travelers chase. Pro tips: · Larnaca Salt Lake: Tel: +357 24 816366 (best for flamingos Oct–Mar) · Church of Saint Lazarus: Open daily, 8am–6:30pm · Larnaca Archaeological Museum: 8am–4pm (Tue–Sun, closed Mondays) · Larnaka Castle: 8:30am–5pm (Mon–Sun) Book your adventures and stays with trip.com for the ultimate, stress-free Cypriot shoulder season escape!

Larnaca in November hits totally different! You get those warm(ish) Mediterranean days—perfect for strolling the seaside promenade or grabbing a coffee at a cute outdoor cafe. But heads up: evenings cool down big time, so don’t let that midday sun fool you! Even with Cyprus’ famous chill weather, November likes to keep you guessing. One day it’s all sunshine; next moment, there’s a random drizzle. Classic autumn mood, right? Rule number one: always check the forecast before you head out. That morning blue sky can switch up and turn breezy, especially if you’re hanging seaside. For daytime adventuring, comfy sneakers and breathable layers are your besties. Toss a light jumper or windbreaker in your bag—so clutch when the sun sets or the breeze rolls in. 😎 Rainy vibes? No stress! Larnaca’s got you covered. Dive into the Pierides Museum (Address: 4 Zinonos Kitieos Street, Larnaca 6023; Open Mon-Sat 9am–4pm), or get your retail therapy on at the city shops. And of course, nothing wrong with taking it slow and having a loooong meal at a cozy local restaurant. Some brave souls still hit the beach for a swim in November 😅, but honestly, treat that as a bonus, not a plan. Sometimes the sea is all chill, and other days—well, not so much. Pack for options! No heavy-duty winter gear needed—just a mix of layers, something water-resistant, and your go-to sunnies for those surprise sunbursts. With the right prep, November in Larnaca is pure vibes—relaxed, beautiful, and full of hidden gems to discover at your own pace. Use #tripbestshot to share your cutest November OOTDs and holiday moments!

After the seafront stroll, get ready to dive into Larnaca’s cozy historic streets—seriously, they’re so photogenic and full of life! Here, little boutiques, traditional Cypriot buildings, and mom-and-pop shops instantly give you that real city vibe. Next stop? The iconic Church of Saint Lazarus (Plateia Agiou Lazarou, Larnaca 6020, Cyprus). It’s open daily (Monday–Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM), and it’s a total must-see. This stone beauty dates back to the ninth century, serving major cultural and religious feels. The church is super popular for a reason, but don't sleep on the square around it—those side lanes nearby are hiding some SERIOUS Instagrammable corners, quirky doors, and chill cafés serving up fresh coffee. ☕️📸 A big win for November? The weather is perfect for urban exploring—no sweating, no dodging sunburns, just easy breezy walks. Trust: sneakers or comfy shoes are a lifesaver on those cobblestone streets! History buff? Pause and really soak in all the church’s details: ancient stonework, cool mosaics, and the amazing atmosphere inside. When you’re done, you can either meander down the shopping streets (think: jewelry, local crafts, cute finds) or cruise back over to the waterfront for ocean vibes. Don’t just tick off the “top sights”—the fun of Larnaca’s city centre is tuning into daily life. Duck into a local bakery for mouthwatering pastries, peek into secret courtyards full of plants, or snap a pic of street art you spot along the way. Let your curiosity lead the way instead of just racing from one tourist spot to another. Seriously, turning your walk into its own mini adventure is what makes Larnaca SO special. 🏖️✨ And for the latest tips, attractions, and even hotel suggestions, check out trip.com before you hit the streets!
The ancient Roman ruins are well preserved, and their momentum is not inferior to the famous ancient sites in Greece, attracting tourists from all over the world🗺
JenniferrrrrrrThe Paphos Tombs of the Kings are located on the seashore, next to the Mediterranean Sea. Tourists are happily taking photos here, which looks a bit like Tomb Raider. What is strange is that there is an abandoned cargo ship floating on the sea not far from the Tombs of the Kings. Because of an accident in a storm, the shipping cost was too high and it was abandoned at sea.
xiaobo_wuIt’s a small but a beautiful church inside out, day and night where witnesses many weddings. I have watched 2 wedding in a roll, very interesting. Most beautiful historical building in Larnaca in my opinion.
