永樂宮-古魏城遺址

The ancient Weicheng site is located2.5 kilometers north of Chengguan Town, Yucheng County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, with a length of1.5 kilometers from east to west and a width of1.3 kilometers from north to south.[3] The ancient Weicheng site is square, with a circumference of 4,500 meters and an area of about 1.44 million square meters. The three corners of the southeast, northeast and northwest are well preserved. There are crescent-shaped earthen platforms on the outside of the city. There are relics such as pottery, beans, pots and earthenware in the Western Zhou period, and several batches of bronzeware have been unearthed. The ancient Weicheng site is well preserved and is a valuable information for studying the early Chinese city sites.
