Petroglyphs

Beautiful stop along scenic byway 279. There’s an info sign on the highway stating that you’ve reached the petroglyphs. Very lovely to see.

Incredible history

You can almost miss these unless you know where they are. Look for all the rock climbers on "wall street" and you will find these just past.

Fantastic experience

Absolutely loved seeing these amazing petroglphys from 5000 years ago. Pull off along the road for parking and then bring a zoom lens to take fantastic photos. Not to be missed.

Worth ferreting out

These petroglyphs are actually on the map if you look very carefully. There is plenty of room to pull off the road and take photos.
