Located at the Yunmen Mountain Scenic Area, this waterfall is 8 meters wide with a vertical drop of 168 meters, equivalent to the height of 50 floors! We took a high-speed train from Guangzhou South Station directly to Shaoguan Station, which took less than an hour, then booked a ride-share directly to Yunmen Mountain Scenic Area. After entering the scenic area, we had a casual lunch and then took the cable car up the mountain. We bought a 180-yuan package ticket, which included admission + round-trip cableway + glass bridge + round-trip elevator + ocean park and animal park. It's really cost-effective, no need to climb mountains as the cableway takes you up and down, and there are few people in the scenic area, making it great for taking photos. ⚠️ Travel tip: The scenic area has paid lockers, if you have a lot of luggage you can scan the code for self-service storage. There is a commercial area in the scenic area with dining and accommodation. The houses on both sides of the commercial street are covered with green plants, and walking through it feels a bit like entering the magical world of Oz, great for taking photos. There are shuttle buses in the scenic area, 5 yuan/person, which take you to the cableway. If you don't want to walk, you can take it, no need to wait, just go. However, the distance is not far, and it's reachable on foot, so there's no need to take it... The cable car fits two people per ride, very stable and not shaky. You can see another angle of Yunmen Mountain's beauty from the cable car. Just buy the package ticket and you don't need to buy a cable car ticket on-site, just check the ticket and take the cable car. There are high-altitude swings, high-altitude pedal bikes, mountain trail go-karts, and other amusement projects in the scenic area, but they require additional payment. The swing costs 30 yuan/person, and the mountain trail go-kart costs 50 yuan/person, you can play by paying on-site. The scenic area is quite lush with trees, so there are also quite a few mosquitoes. It is recommended to bring a bottle of mosquito repellent, especially for families with children. There are free photo-taking projects in the scenic area, but the photography skills are average, and the free paper photos are quite blurry.
