Short Walk to View One of the First New York Settlers from MA
Conscience point is a short walk that leads up to a big rock . . . which reads as one of the first settlements MA English reached in New York. It is a short path so no walk or hike at this point.
Historic spot
Conscience Point is a small historic preserve dedicated to commemorate where the British Settlers arrived in NY. There is a pathway with scenic views, plaques and a large rock to view.
Good stopping spot.
We had a short visit here to enjoy the view and to have some food. It is a quiet and beautiful spot that has some history.
