Multiple levels of falls right on the side of the road

We walked by the falls when we left the walking paths around the gorge and began the long uphill trek back to Hotel Takachiho. Small and large falls - at least 8 maybe more - rush down over the rock...

a waterfall divided into many lines

    Original Text

It is a waterfall along the road around the upper side of the Onokoro Pond. With a height of about 5 meters and a width of more than 10 meters, many lines of water are flowing down from the cliff of the columnar joint. It was winter, but it was beautiful with a lot of water.

A famous waterfall hidden in the shadow of Manai waterfall in Takachiho gorge

    Original Text

When strolling through Takachiho Gorge, most people think that they will park their car in the nearby parking lot or get off the sightseeing bus and take a walk, but this is a waterfall with clean water on the other side of Manai Falls.

The waterfall when there is water is splendid! It seems that winter is not good

    Original Text

There is Tamatari Falls on the side of the road, a 3-minute walk from the Mishioi parking lot in Takachiho Gorge. Tamatari Falls is a waterfall where spring water that has spilled out of the cliffs falls from the cliff like a weeping, and it seems to be famous as it is, but in the winter I visited, there were some water flows. Of things, It was not a state where a large amount of water flowed down like a waterfall, but a state that was slightly lacking in power.

    It's a water source.

    Original Text

It is located on the road from the national highway to the boat stop of Takachiho Gorge. Water is spouting out of the rock wall of the columnar joint into a waterfall, and it is said that it is used as a source of water for the water supply in Takachiho Town.
