Great introduction to the area
This was a very cozy and interesting museum. It gave me a good overview of the area and the fort in particular. Docents were helpful and friendly. The Anderson Homestead was very interesting as well. ...
Not a traditional army fort. This fort was established to help people settle at the end of the Oregon trail. This was used until the 1850s and turned into a museum by around 1905. A lot to see for $8 ...
A great place to get a taste of Oregon and Oregon Trail history. Very interesting to see what life was during the time of the Oregon Trail and early settler life in Oregon.
Although this doesn't look like a fort it is what's left. We were greeted outside and were shown inside, they even held the door for us. After a short explanation about the fort we were on our way aro...
A fun place to visit and some nice people to chat with, ask them to play you some music. Be sure to go upstairs to see the western room and the woman room.
