    The chief priest of this temple of the Shingon sect is also famous in the world of calligraphy. The letters and paintings next to the mountain gate change regularly, and you can see the unique and heart-warming words of the chief priest. The Sanskrit Mandala with the chief priest written on the ceiling of the main hall is a masterpiece.

    Hanazoin is a temple of the Shingon sect Chiyama school located about an 8-minute walk from JR Utsunomiya Station. I worshiped early in the morning of November. A well-shaped mountain gate welcomes visitors. Statues of Kobo Daishi and Kokyo Daishi are lined up. There are graveyards, Jizo Bodhisattva statues, Daishido, bell towers, etc. There was a reclining statue in the main hall. If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?
